We are located on the mountain at an altitude of around 750 meters above sea level, so you should expect snow during winter holidays. Normally the road is well cleared, but sometimes snow chains or a four-wheel drive vehicle can be an advantage.
The village of Unken is 3 km away. There you will find everything you need for daily necessities (supermarket, bakery, butcher, etc.).
